About Us
Sunita Foundation (SF) is a national level non-profit organization established by the survivors of human trafficking in 2019 AD. Together with peer survivors, the organization is founded by our Late Founder President Sunita Danuwar, a Trafficking in Person (TIP) Hero-2018. Our mission is to combat human trafficking, safeguard the rights of women and child survivors, and empower them through economic reintegration and comprehensive support.
Job description:
- Provide psychosocial counseling services to survivors.
- Conduct case assessments and maintain detailed case management documentation of each beneficiary.
- Work closely with the project team and partner organizations to ensure successful implementation of psychosocial components.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with local-level stakeholders and government agencies.
- Document case studies, session reports, timesheets, and other required documentation.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in alignment with Sunita Foundation’s policies and ethical standards.
Requirements for the position
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of psychosocial counseling.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Nepal’s national policy and guidelines on trafficking survivors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven proficiency in case management systems and confidential record-keeping.
- Ability to communicate and document effectively in both Nepali and English.
- Competency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).

- Flexible part-time schedule, to be determined based on mutual availability.
