Inspiring Visit to Nuwakot | Learning, Empowerment and Creativity

Our visit to Nuwakot with Mr. Randall Bolling from the Family and Friends Project was truly meaningful and inspiring. During the visit, we went to Dupcheswor Secondary School to meet the Child and Adolescent Club members who have been actively mobilized by Sunita Foundation.
The students warmly welcomed us with beautiful handmade cards and flowers, showcasing their creativity and dedication.
One of the highlights of the visit was a wonderful learning session on Origami led by Masata Yamada from Japan. The students enthusiastically learned the art of paper folding and proudly shared the crafts they created.
The club members also performed a powerful drama on the theme of child marriage, which was both insightful and thought-provoking. Their performance reflected strong awareness and courage to speak about important social issues.
Another memorable part of the visit was Randall Sir’s interactive doodle storytelling session. The activity was lively, creative, and highly engaging, with students actively participating and expressing their ideas through drawings and stories.
These two days were filled with learning, sharing, creativity, and connection. It was heartwarming to witness the confidence, talent, and enthusiasm of the children and adolescents. Moments like these remind us that learning and sharing truly have the power to inspire and transform lives.
