Annual Memorial Dialouge, Reflecting on Nepal's Anti-Human Trafficking Movement: Current Realities and the Way Forward
Honouring the past is not only about remembering a legacy-it is also about reflecting on where we stand today and where we must go next.
Today's Annual Memorial Dialogue, held in honour of our Founder President, Late Sunita Danuwar, brought together diverse voices for an insightful panel discussion on Nepal's anti-human trafficking movement. Through honest reflection, thoughtful dialogue, and different perspectives, the discussion challenged us to look beyond achievements, acknowledge the realities that remain, and consider what is most needed to strengthen a more coordinated and survivor-centred response. Also, participants placed their Commitments on the Tribute Wall, creating a collective tribute to Sunita Danuwar's life, vision, and enduring her legacy.
