Today, Sunita Foundation marks its 6th anniversary- a journey rooted in the fight against human trafficking and driven by a deep commitment to social justice.
This year’s milestone carries a heavy heart, as we mark it for the first time without our beloved founder president, Late Sunita Danuwar. For the first time, we honor this day without her, yet her spirit and vision live on in every life we touch and every voice we uplift. She laid the foundation with a powerful vision to combat human trafficking from prevention to support, recovery, and transformation.
This anniversary is more than a marker of time; it is a call to deepen our commitment. We remain committed to prevent trafficking, protect vulnerable communities, and empower survivors to create new paths on their own terms.
